How Does It Work?
The eRoam homepage allows for multiple product searches such as;

Whilst booking single segments is easy, this tutorial demonstrates how to book a multi city complex itinerary.
Step 1: Create the User Profile
The first step is for the user to create a profile for the traveller and then fill in the prompts. ie Start and/or finish location, travel date and number of travellers.
The user is then able to update their personal preferences to help determine, which products to pre-populate.
eg. the user can adjust the preferences for ‘Accommodation Type’, ‘Activities’ and ‘Transport Type’, and this will determine the products selected in the itinerary.
Step 2 : Launch Interactive Map
This will launch an interactive map where the user is able to manually adjust the duration at each location as well as create ‘Round Trips’.
As the user adds a location, the system will prioritise the locations in the best order, utilising the Google API.
The user also has the capability to re-order the cities and this will dynamically update all of the product that this change affects.
Once a user has selected a number of locations, they can adjust the booking via the Itinerary Summary.
Step 3: View Pricing & Summary
The Booking Summary gives the user an overview of the trip length along with the price per day and total price per booking.
The Trip Summary gives the user an overview of the locations included, check-in dates, and length of stay for each location. A user is also able to view the products pre-populated for each location by selecting the city.
From here you can also adjust the duration in each location and start / end – this will update all affected segments.
In the B2B version, the agent also has the ability to switch between gross and nett pricing.
Step 4: Edit the Accommodation
A user can modify any product within the itinerary by selecting a city. Once a city is selected, the system will display the accommodation, activities and the transport to the next location.
To modify a product, a user just needs to select the product type within the Itinerary Summary. The system will display a list of available products for that location, date and search criteria.
From the filters across the top you can search by (1) Price, (2) Refundable or (3) Star Rating.
Step 5: Change Hotels
A user is able to select a different hotel by clicking on one of the hotels provided within a list (the current selected hotel is displayed at the top of the list, with the light grey background).
Once the user has selected a hotel, they can view the hotel details such as;
Rooms & Rates
To change or update the accommodation product, the user just needs to select ‘Add to Itinerary’ and the system will replace the products.
Step 6: Manage the Activities
A user is able to add and remove multiple activities for a single location. Once a user has selected the ‘Activity Summary’ within the itinerary summary, a list of available activities is presented. If a user does not wish to include the pre-populated activity, they can select the ‘Cancel Activity’ button.
A user can view more details about each individual activity from the ‘View More’ button. If a user wishes to add multiple Activities, they can select ‘Book Activity’ on each product.
Step 7: Manage Flights, Coaches & Trains
A user is able to update the transport product. Once a user has selected the ‘Transport Summary’ within the itinerary summary, a list of available transport products is presented. There are multiple types of transport including buses, flights etc.
A user can view more details about each individual transport by selecting it from the list. They can update the product by selecting ‘Add to Itinerary’.

Step 8: View Automated Itinerary
View Itinerary allows a user to get a detailed view of their itinerary. In the live environment, the information provided is based on the licensees requirements and styling.
In the live environment, a user can gain more information on the products booked within each location including;
Check In / Out Dates / Times
Importing / Special Information
Step 9: Finalise Travellers Details
Booking the Itinerary allows a user to review the final itinerary created. They are required to fill in the details for each PAX and to confirm the pricing and terms and conditions.
Step 10 : Make Payment
To finalise the booking, the user is directed to the licensee’s Payment Gateway.
Once confirmed the booking appears in eRoam’s CMS.
